First Aid Merit Badge: Sat Mar 31, 9 AM - 3 PM

The First Aid Merit Badge will be held at KUMC -- See Google Calendar for details.

We will teach any eligible Scouts who shows up. Attendance is restricted to Scouts who are First Class rank and above. Anyone who wants to do the merit badge and is not yet First Class needs first to speak to Assistant-Scoutmaster Beathard.

This BSA restriction is in place because the First Aid Merit Badge requires a a review of Tenderfoot through First Class First Aid. We cannot have a 'review' if Scouts have not yet studied basic Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class First Aid.

For example, a Pedro from last year who studied First Aid at El Rancho Cima, but has not finished his First Class rank may take the merit badge. However, a brand-new Pedro cannot.
